Gain Real-World English Language Skills

The DISCOVER program is an exciting program in which you gain real-world English language skills, and personal and professional skills that you can use for your career, study, and travel.

Learn and practise English in engaging, lively classes, then head out onto the University of British Columbia campus and into Vancouver to create projects that will inspire you. Experience new challenges and themes as you progress through the program.

Who it’s For

The DISCOVER program is designed for globally-minded and adventurous students who want to study, work and travel in English. The program is for you if you want to:

  • Learn real-world, practical English inside and outside the classroom.
  • Experience UBC and Vancouver with frequent field trips into the community.
  • Build teamwork and critical thinking skills with group work, discussions, and projects.
  • Create unforgettable projects using current themes adapted to your interests.
  • Meet and talk to Canadians in authentic situations and settings.

Upon completion of each 8-week program you will receive a certificate and transcript.
